A RATIO supplied, modestly priced re-certified PC is the answer to all of the above. We'll install the correct PLOTBASE version of your choice along with an updated rsp license file and make sure the operating system is properly configured. It can save many hours of chargable on-site installation time and avoid incompatibilities of the legacy controller cards with chip sets on new PCs. Many of the original legacy PLOTBASE controller cards will have issues if attempting to install on a new PC. Please check with us if you're not sure of the PC compatibility of your controller before ordering a new computer.

Please note that it is not necessary to upgrade the OS to Windows 7 for compatibility with Windows 7 x32 or x64 workstations. We recommend leaving the operating system for this replacement PLOTBASE server as XP-PRO SP3 and upgrading the PLOTBASE version to 3.7.3 for Windows 7 workstation connectivity.
